This Friday was especially exciting, not just because of Sandy and Halloween fast approaching, but because we worked on a lot of fun activities! In the morning the students finished their week long study on the -ing family by becoming -ing Kings...(and queens!). In the afternoon, Mrs. Burns' class joined us as we investigated pumpkins. We used nonstandard forms of measurements to weigh, and measure the height and circumference of the pumpkins. It was tough, but we worked hard!
