Today we were also lucky enough to work with Mrs. Gohagon and Mrs. Archer's class in the computer lab to learn all about MLK Jr. We watched a BrainPop video, and then researched him using PebbleGo. Many of us were even paired with a second grade friend! After we recorded one fact we learned and then used ScribblePress on the iPADs to draw a picture of our dream for Brewster School. More pictures and the final product will be coming soon!
I was reminded today of how truly kind and pure of heart your children are. We read a story on MLK Jr's life and learned about the message of his "I have a Dream" speech. Tomorrow we will focus on this message, "not the color of our skin, but the content of our character". You should all be so proud.
