Room 12 is all about sharing our learning with the world. We each have so much to offer, it was be a crime if we didn't! Somehow, it seems, we do not take the opportunity to teach each other enough. This was the perfect project for this. Two students used PebbleGo to research either a reptile and amphibian. They answered research questions, printed out pictures and made observational drawings. After their research was completed, the groups made a poster to present their new leraning to the class. Students were given a few headings and told to have at it! I could not believe the creations! Organized and neat, these projects offered the students with such a sense of pride. The following day students practiced their presentation by deciding who will say what and exactly what they wanted to share. In the afternoon, students got up in front of their peers (no easy task!) and offered up all the new knowledge they had learned. Take a look at the process and swing by the hallway to see them in person!
